However, their union was short-lived as the pair divorced a year later on grounds of infidelity on her ex-husband's part. It is alleged that he sired multiple children out-of-wedlock but stated that they parted ways due to irreconcilable differences.

When they say that image is everything, they mean it, especially for public figures like Funke Akindele. She suffered double loss as some of her endorsement deals were withdrawn in the midst of her divorce from Kehinde Oloyede. In an online interview with Chude, Funke admitted that she rushed into the union due to external pressure and encouraged women not to rush into marriage.

Funke Akindele and her new husband

Funke Akindile was keen on having a family of her own. After the fallout of her first marriage, she gave it a second try. In May 2016, Funke Akndile tied the knot to Nigerian rapper Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz in a secret wedding in London.

It’s reported that Funke Akindile’s parents were absent from the ceremony as they didn’t approve of her new husband. Mr and Mrs Akindile argued that Funke Akindile’s second husband JJC Skillz has similar habits as her ex-husband as he has three children from three women.

Funke Akindele’s family

Apart from her adorable two kids, Funke Akindile has three step-children who are from her new husband’s previous relationships.

Funke Akindile’s Controversy

Funke Akindile and her husband were charged with violating lockdown rules imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The celebrated actress hosted a birthday party for her hubby and pleaded guilty in court. She was sentenced to 14-days of community service.

Olayode Juliana and Funke Akindele fight

Juliana Olayode left Funke Akindele’s show Jenifa’s Diary under acrimonious circumstances. Juliana who is fondly known as Toto Baby blamed her former manager and ‘spiritual father’ Pastor Timi Adigun sent an email to management that led to her exit from the show.

The contents of the email have not been made public but reports indicate that Juliana Olayode asked for an increase in her fee. By the time she left in 2017, she earned 3,000 nairas per episode of Jenifa’s Diary. This strained her relationship with Funke who has since come out and accused some young actors of being ungrateful.

What happened between Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham?

The answer is easily nothing. Toyin Abraham has spoken out on her alleged beef with the Jenifa star. She is just as confused as she insists that she gets along with Funke Akindile to the point where she would kneel and greet her when they cross paths.

Rumours about their supposed beef might have been stirred up by another Nollywood actress Ojo Iyabo who claimed that Funke Akindile paid bloggers to give Toyin Abrahams a bad review for her film “The Ghost and The Tout”

Toyin Abraham maintains that she is on good terms with Funke Akindele, they work together and follow one another on social media thus you should ignore the rumours.

Iyabo Ojo and Funke Akindele beef

When it comes to Iyabo Ojo, it seems as though the actress harbours beef against her industry colleague Funke Akindele. Iyabo Ojo insists that Funke betrayed her several times after she came through for her in times of need.

She however does not state how she helped her but an Instagram rumour blogger Tosin Silverdam claimed that Iyabo opened the doors to her house to Funke Akindile and her best friend Eniola Badmus when they had housing issues in Ikorodu. In response, Iyabo denied the reports and warned Tosin of spreading false narratives.

Funke Akindele and Eniola Badmus

The two are well known best friends and anyone expects them to be there for one another thus Funke Akindele’s absence during Eniola Badmus’s 20 years stage celebration raised eyebrows over the status of their friendship. Some suggest that she chose to stay away due to the presence of Iyabo Ojo and did not want to cause trouble.

Despite ongoing murmurs that the two don’t see eye to eye, Eniola insisted that the two remain inseparable and even referred to Funke as “her ride till the end”. The two have acted alongside one another since the early 2000s.

Femi Adebayo and Funke Akindele

This is a bitter one to swallow. The seasoned actress Funke Akindele was accused of breaking Femi Adebayo’s first marriage to Khadijat after an alleged affair. Femi Adebayo absolved Funke of any blame and stated that she had nothing to do with it. He attributed it to the fact that his ex-wife was not comfortable with his profession as an actor.

“You Can’t have children”

In 2016, Nigerian prophet Felayimu Olagoroye “prophesied” that veteran actress Funke Akindele would not bear any children. In a twist of events, Funke gave birth to twins in 2018 and the “prophet” was on the defensive and claimed that Funke conceived through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF). Funke has featured in some of the top-rated films - entertainment and money-wise in the country and is also behind the highest-selling film in Nigeria. Who is the richest between Odunlade Adekola and Funke Akindele?

When it comes to Yoruba actors, both Odunlade and Funke constantly appear in the top ten list but who is richer? Well, Funke Akindele’s net worth has clearly been stated above.

Odunlade Adekola is a singer, film producer, director and actor. He generates his wealth from these endeavours and also owns a production company Odunalde Adekola Film Productions (OAFP), has invested in real estate and also earns from ambassadorial deals. This gives Odunalde Adekola a net worth of $1.8 million, an equivalent of 740 million nairas.

From the information above, Funke Akindele has a net worth of $3.5 million while Odunalde Adekola’s net worth stands at $1.8 million. This means that Funke Akindele is the richer of the two.

Who is the richest between Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo?

Funke Akindele’s net worth stands at $3.5 million which she makes from her acting career, endorsement deals, her company One Scene Production and film school.

Iyabo Ojo is also a respected Yoruba actress. She also draws her income from real estate investments, brand endorsement deals as well as her business. Iyabo Ojo’s net worth is estimated to be $300,000 to $500,000, an equivalent of 126 - 209 million nairas.
