Hushpuppi’s Scams

Hushpuppi’s high profile lifestyle has come under intense scrutiny as his source of wealth remains questionable. He is accused of being involved in money laundering, email scams and hacking schemes, cyber fraud, identity theft and criminal impersonation.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Hushpuppi works with a network with whom they get illegal access to the emails of companies and redirect or block them. They then use this to dupe individuals or companies to send them money.

Through this, he has defrauded people and companies of millions of dollars. A case in point is the Qatari school fraud that happened before his arrest. Hushpuppi faked his identity to be that of a New York banker in which he conned a Qatari businessman who was in need of a $15 million loan to buy a school in Qatar.

Through his network, Ramon Abbas Hushpuppi stole more than a million dollars from the victim and part of that money went into the purchase of a watch costing $230,000.

Hushpuppi might have made you jealous with all the riches he flaunts online but one thing he failed to do, was to be discreet. In his quest to snap and post, he attracted the attention of the FBI who thought he was suspiciously living large for someone without a job.

When the FBI decided to pursue him, they really went in for him. This played out just like the movies, trust us on this. Apparently, Hushpuppi’s eventual downfall was caused by his dinner with American socialite Blac Chyna.
