Angela Okorie has been put on blast by fans over her comments about US actor Chadwick Boseman, who tragically passed over the weekend...

Widely known for his role as Marvel superhero Black Panther, Chadwick succumbed to a secret four-year long battle with colon cancer, his reps revealed in a statement that shocked fans.

A host of celebrities and the acting fraternity have since remembered the star with touching  tributes and stories of their personal experiences with him.

Closer to home, Angela Okorie also had something to say about Chadwick, although it was far from nice or factual for that matter...

In a video clip uploaded to her Instagram page, the actress-turned-singer mocked those who paid tribute to the 42-year-old actor, falsely assuming fans and friends were aware of the actor's cancer diagnosis.

"When he was sick for four years, why didn't you people pray for him? Now he is gone", she said.

Angela posted the clip along with a lengthy caption, claiming 'people celebrate death more than life'.

She wrote; "Celebrate life that is worth celebrating, not when they are gone.
Especially people who have done alot to put smiles on your face. ...All that epistle doesn't really matter when the person don't get to see it"

Angela also used Chadwick's death to promote her new single and album

She continued; "Too much hate in the world and I don't know why ...straight to my YouTube channel. Tap the link in my bio and and listen to LEGIT (track 7)".
