Naija rapper Mo'Cheddah has put fellow singer D'banj on blast over his actions following his alleged rape victim's shocking statement this week...

On Tuesday, Seyitan Babatayo - the woman who accused D'banj of raping her in her hotel room in 2018 - released a statement claiming the singer had not only attempted to use his power & influence to thwart justice, but he and his representatives had also allegedly kidnapped her in a bid to intimidate and scare her into silence.

Following public outrage criticising the superstar over his actions, Mo'Cheddah has released some scathing words against her industry colleague.

She wrote in an Instagram post; "Shame on you for being the bully you have shown us you are... Shame on you for silencing a young woman from speaking her truth... Shame on you for being an instrument to unlawful imprisonment...
Shame on you for influencing the order to arrest a woman that has accused you of rape... Shame on you for making her sign under duress...you have shown.the world who you are, and that you truly stand for nothing".

Mo'Cheddah also stated that she believed D'banj - who claims he is "innocent until proven guilty" - should be 'cancelled', stripped of his endorsements and awards and the policemen be fired who worked in his favour by unlawfully arresting Seyitan.

Meanwhile the United Nations has dismissed claims that D'banj was ever their ambassador

The global organisation responded to a widespread call to 'strip' the singer of his Ambassador for Peace title, with the the UN Director Of Information, Joseph Kayanja stating on record; "I would like to confirm that the said Mr. Oladapo Oyebanjo aka D’Banj is NOT a UN Ambassador.

"The title was accorded to him by an obscure UN youth association which has nothing to do with the United Nations."

Social media users are now calling Heritage Bank and charity 'Global Citizen' to drop the singer as brand ambassador.

Meanwhile D'banj has yet to respond to Seyitan's statement or calls for him to be cancelled
