While men went about their day, a Nigerian celebrity was receiving the best gift of her life so far. Although she had celebrated her 43rd birthday on the 1st of January last month, the gifts had not all been sent!

Actress and entrepreneur Mercy Aigbe shared videos of her latest gift- a Range Rover HSE from a business partner whose brand she is an ambassador for. It was designed to be a late birthday/ early valentine gift.
The car was covered by a board that read: ‘Thank you for being an amazing ambassador.
An excited Mercy posted the video with the caption:

So a few days ago @gleeoflife said to me that she would like to host me today for my belated birthday since I wasn’t in town during my birthday, little did I know what she had in store for me!

She uploaded another video with the caption:

Her comment section mirrored the excitement in the air. 

Her colleague Toyin Abraham wrote: '@realmercyaigbe just bring it for me to drive😍😍😍congratulations '

A fan who was dissatisfied with the person handling the camera, wrote: 'Dem suppose slap person wey dey hold camera, na mercy reaction we wan see, why showing us only the car'

Mercy's daughter Michelle posted a boomerang on her IG story with the caption 'our new car'.

Mercy was a cast of the highest-grossing Nigerian movie of all time, Omo Ghetto produced and directed by Funke Akindele. 

As an actress, she is one of those who have had successful careers in the English and Yoruba speaking genres of Nollywood.

In a ranking done by a news site, she was named as one of the richest Yoruba actresses in 2020.
