Naija singer Peuzzi Vibes has apologised for a series of "stupid and insensitive" tweets in which he boasted about wanting to rape multiple women...

In a lengthy statement, the singer - who is signed to Davido's record label - humbly requested forgiveness for old social media posts made in 2012, after receiving a massive backlash online.

He wrote; "I'm ashamed and deeply apologetic for a series of tweets posted on social media 8 years ago. Those tweets were irresponsible and ill-informed.

Peruzzi then went on to blame his age and lack of maturity for his inexcusable words.

He continued; "I was younger and didn't fully grasp the implications of making such statements. They are neither a reflection of who I was then or am now".

The star also acknowledged rape allegations made against him by a woman by the name of Princess Jayamah, who went public with her story this week.

"I have never and will never rape or sexually assault anybody. The claim is false and has also been refuted who was present at the time of the allegation," he added.

Princess claimed that back in 2012 - the same year of his controversial tweets - he raped her in his apartment.

Meanwhile a woman the name of Aisha who is been linked to the allegations as a 'witness' has disputed the rape allegations altogether.

In a joint Instagram Live chat with Peruzzi, Aisha claimed that the allegations have been fabricated.

She is heard saying; "This is not a real didn’t happen at all...I was there, it didn’t happen."

However Princess claims she believes Aisha is being "bribed or threatened" to change her story.

Princess tweeted; "Aisha has corroborated my story, bu she's afraid or either Peruzzi has bribed or threatened her....Beware of fake friends that won't stand by you when you need them the more".
