Media personality and socialite Toke Makinwa has clapped back at critics over her personal life in a heated series of tweets...

The popular social media star - who is famed for her luxury lifestyle - broke her silence on recent claims she was being evicted over unpaid debts from her Banana Island home bought for her by her alleged sugar daddy Festus Fadeyi.

This proved untrue after the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) recently refuted claims that she neither owes them any money, nor were they seizing her property

“What I can tell you now is that Toke Makinwa is not an obligor of AMCON. An obligor is a debtor, people that are owing us money and I can confirm that she is not our debtor," spokesperson Jude Uwauzor told publication Premium Times.

Toke took to Twitter this week to cold water over the fake news, posting an image of the report which claims she is totally innocent.

She also fired back at critics, tweeting; "The energy you put in to spreading false stories should be the same energy you use to clarify and retract same stories".

Toke even claimed she had reported the tweep - who had originated the post - to police and was on a mission to have them arrested and even sued for all that she could.

"The account that started the vicious rumor on here deleted the tweets but I have reported to the police and an investigation is going on as I type, things are going to get very interesting.. perhaps you gather all your coins cos I will buy that house in Banana Island," she added.

This serves as just another reminder to drink you water and mind your own business!
