The past few days has seen some of the biggest stars in Nigeria being accused of sexual assault...

First it was D'banj who was accused of allegedly raping a woman in her hotel room in 2018.

Then it was Peruzzi who came under fire for his old tweets after a woman called him out for allegedly raping her in his apartment in 2012.

This week, Davido felt the heat after he was accused of sexually assaulting Kemi Olunloyo who claimed he also verbally attacked her on Twitter.

Now Big Brother Africa star Uti Nnwachukwu is the latest celeb to be accused to having sexual relations with a non-consenting female.

A woman identified as Kambili Korie shared her story on Twitter where she alleged that the model and actor forcefully raped her some years back.

Responding to the allegations, Uti slammed the woman for her "reckless" claims and "defamation of character" even going as far as to file a petition with the police for a full scale investigation in a bid to clear his name.

He posted on social media; "I’m dedicating myself to getting to the bottom of this, by pursuing these allegations to THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW".

Now Uti has updated his fans on the latest development on the investigation, revealing that his accuser deleted her Twitter account before police could identify her

He revealed on Instagram; "My accuser - whose account was created only recently to accuse me of this horrendous crime - has been deleted before investigators could identify her".

"This is unfortunate because it doesn’t fully exonerate me from the accusation the way the courts would have done; I REALLY needed the opportunity to prove my innocence so this culprit could face the full penalties."

Despite not getting any closure, Uti vowed to continue to be an advocate for violent crimes against women.

He added; "Victims of sexual abuse need to be heard and believed, and it’s why I will continue to pursue this to prevent anyone else from making it even harder from victims to speak out."
