Once you've established yourself as a celebrity in the entertainment industry, you can charge exorbitant fees for shows. When these celebrities announce that they will be performing somewhere, they draw a large crowd. They are not cheap, and you will be surprised that they are frequently booked for shows despite the fees they charge.

Have a look at the amount your favorite celebrity is charging for a gig.

Kizz Daniel

You may not be aware, but Kizz Daniel is one of Nigeria's most booked musicians.  Since leaving G-World Wide, the singer increased his fee. He charges between 5 and 6 million for local shows and if you want him to perform outside Nigeria be prepared to pay as high as $80,000.

The musician rose to fame when he released his first single in 2014 named Woju. It became an instant hit. The song quickly became one of Nigeria's most popular songs of the year, earning nominations for "Hottest Single Of The Year" and the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

The musician has been in the music scene for a while which means he has established himself in the Nigerian music industry.

So, there is no need to get shocked once you receive his invoice. Kizz Daniel has worked his back off to get to where he is today.

Multi-talented musician Flavour is stacking racks on racks. He has become a household name in the entertainment industry.

His rapid rise to fame began with the release of his chart-topping single Nwa Baby. Even outside of Nigeria, the song was a huge success. Since then Flavour has been releasing hit after hit.

The singer charges N3 million per show in the country. Since the musician is also well known beyond the shores of the country he charges about $73,000 per show and in Europe 15,000 Euros.

That's the advantage of being an international artist.

In the country, 2baba is paid N7 million ($32,000) per show. In fact, there have been instances where he has agreed to perform in shows that other artists have declined due to the performance fee.

He even charges as little as $35,000 for performances outside of Nigeria.

2Face, who also wrote the song "You Are My African Queen," is very considerate when it comes to charging for his performances. Which is a little strange given how well-known he is as an artist; you'd think he'd ask for more.

His hit song has also been used in a number of local and international films. If that doesn't tell you that you're dealing with a major artist, I don't know what will.

Rude Boy

Rudeboy began his career as part of the Psquare duo. Unfortunately, he and his identical twin brother Peter, also known as Mr.P hit a rough patch in their careers and decided to go their separate ways.

They set out on their own to launch their own solo careers. Rude Boy has been working hard to maintain his position at the top. He released the hit song Reason With Me, which has received over 129 million views on YouTube.

He charges between 6 and 8 million for shows in the country and up to $100,000 when he is performing in other countries.

It's great to see the Psquare brothers still ruling the music scene.

Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage is widely regarded as Nigeria's most successful female artist. She has had a successful musical career in which she has collaborated with major artists both locally and internationally.

She has made her mark in the entertainment industry as the best of the best.

Tiwa charges N6 million locally and 80-100,000 dollars to perform outside Nigeria.

She is still holding it down as the highest-paid female musician in the country. Tiwa is usually overbooked for months. A girl gotta make her money!

Naira Marley

The well-known musician is a developing artist who has not been active in the music scene for a long time but is giving other musicians a run for their money.

He is a controversial musician who always sparks a debate when he posts something on social media. The EFCC arrested Naira Marley in connection with an alleged case of internet fraud. He was eventually released.

Naira has never turned his back on showing his support for the Yahoo boys, who are well-known for their involvement in internet fraud. Most musicians, however, disagree with him.

Going back to his music, Naira charges N6 million to N10 million, and $60,000-100,000 outside of the country. Chi Chi, Coming, and First Time in America are among his hit songs.

He has several collabos with big artists such as Beyonce, Major Lazer and Drake just to name a few.

Wizkid performs in Nigeria only on rare occasions. Perhaps because he charges a high fee to perform. However, we must give StarBoy credit for flying the Nigerian flag high by representing us globally.
