He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and went to school in Lagos, Nigeria, before enrolling in Alabama's 'Oakwood University' to study business administration. He dropped out of school to focus on music and joined the band 'KB International.' In 2011, he returned to Nigeria and began releasing singles.
Later, at the suggestion of his father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, he enrolled at 'Babcock University' and earned a music degree. His debut album, 'Omo Baba Olowo,' received multiple nominations and awards.
'Gobe,' 'One of a Kind,' 'Skelewu,' 'If,' and 'Fall' are among his big singles. Davido also contributed to the song written to support the 'Africa Rising' campaign. The multifaceted musician is a co-owner of the HKN Music label and has produced music for Skales, Naetoc, Sauce Kid and Tiwa Savage among others.

Endorsement deals
Nigerian Entertainment Today reported on April 6, 2012 that Davido had signed a $30 million endorsement deal with MTN. He was named the face of MTN Pulse, a marketing and advertising campaign aimed at Nigerian teenagers, as part of the arrangement.
Guinness Nigeria had engaged Davido for an endorsement agreement, according to Pulse Nigeria, on October 24, 2013.
As part of the arrangement, Davido performed an extra concert with D'banj, P-Square, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ice Prince, Olamide, Phyno, Chidinma, Waje, and Tiwa Savage at the Guinness International.
Davido inked an endorsement deal with Infinix Phone, a Hong Kong-based totally phone maker, on May 9, 2018, according to Guardian Life.

He dated a model named Sira Kante before becoming a father. In late 2014, they began dating. However, the lovely pair split up in 2015, just before the birth of the singer's first child, Sophia Momodu's daughter Imade Aurora Oluwadamilola Adeleke.
Sophia and the singer split up soon after their baby child was born. Following their breakup, the two ex-lovers began battling over the child's custody. According to speculations, the ex-couples got into a disagreement when the singer tried to take the child away from Sophia Momodu.
He also intended to go to the United States with the infant. The cops stopped Davido and his sister at the airport and grabbed their passports. The mother of the child was called by the Nigerian immigration agency and airport employees, but the musician persisted on taking the youngster away.

The artist confirmed that Sophia was the biological mother of his child, although he used him when he was younger. He claimed to have met Sophia when he was around 21 years old. She was older than him and was able to use his youth, innocence, and generosity to her advantage. Sophia is the musician's daughter's mother, however Davido has stated that their relationship is limited to that.
She would never be his wife since she lacked the qualifications. Her upbringing is considerably different from his; she has a poor education and similarly poor physical characteristics.

The Nigerian musician and another baby mama named Amanda received their new bundle of joy in May 2017, not long after the event with Sophia. The newborn was given the name Hailey Veronica Adeleke by the celebrity couple. The musician shared images of himself with the child, indicating that he was now the proud father of two daughters. That was a short-lived relationship.
