David Adedeji Adeleke famously known as Davido is a lucky man. Despite being born into a wealthy family. Davido has been able to build his own brand and name and lifted it to unfathomable heights.

Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father, is a wealthy business tycoon who serves as the President of Adekele University, an institution he co-founded in his hometown of Ede in Osun State.

The entrepreneur comes from a family background of politicians and one of his relatives is the late Isiaq Adeleke who was a two-time senator for Osun State and Ademola Adeleke, his brother who served for a while as a senator.

Dr Adekele was born on March 6, 1957, and is 65 years old as of March 2022.

Where did Davido's father Study?

When he got old enough to attend school, Adedeji Adeleke left Enugu to begin his primary school education in Lagos, where he attended Ansar-Ud-deen school from 1965 to 1970.

Adedeji moved to Osun state after finishing primary school, where he attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Grammar School for his secondary education schooling.

Adedeji Adeleke graduated from secondary school in 1976 and went on to Western Kentucky University in Kentucky, where he earned his first bachelor's degree in finance in 1979. He also has an MBA from the same university, which he received in 1981.

In 1983, Adedeji earned a doctorate from Pacific Columbia University in Mills Valley, California.

Adedeji Adeleke returned to Nigeria after completing his degree in the United States to participate in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps NYSC Scheme.

How much is Davido’s Father’s net worth

He founded Pacific Holdings in December 1983 after completing all of his degrees. He founded Pacific Holdings through Pacific Drilling Company Limited, a company that specializes in geographical surveys, water treatment, borehole drilling, and other services. 

On the 28th of December 1990, the company was reorganized as a Limited Liability Company. Pacific Holdings has expanded into the fields of energy and power generation, as well as freight services.

From his businesses, Adedeji Adeleke, Davido's father, is currently worth approximately $900 million.

Adedeji Adeleke has embarked on various humanitarian projects in order to give back to society, earning him praise from the people.

He founded the Springtime Development Foundation (SDF), a non-profit organization whose mission is to better the lives of many Nigerians via education, which provides limitless chances.

Who is Davido’s Mother?

Davido’s mother, Veronica Imade Adeleke, was borin 1993. Her love for her son made her name some of her assets after her, she also loved music, she was part of a band that was known as David's band and owned a security firm that she named after her son, it was called David’s security.

She was a very learned woman and for a while, she worked as a lecturer at the University of Babcock.

Is Davido’s father married?

In the 1980s, Davido's father (a powerful businessman at the time) met Veronica Imade, a powerful Yoruba businessman. They fell in love right away and were subsequently married in a magnificent ceremony. 

Veronica and Adedeji have four children together: Adewale and Davido, as well as Sharon and Ashley, their daughters. Davido's siblings have all grown up to be diligent and driven young adults who either work for their father's company or own their own enterprises. 

Davido's sisters are both married.

Veronica died On March 6, 2003, a day that was also his husband’s birthday. According to reports, she came back from church and went to rest in her room where she was found dead after a few hours.
