At his hometown of Umahia, Abia State, Nigeria, on November 26, 1982, Michael Collins Ajereh was born. He and his three siblings were raised in Ajegunle, in the state of Lagos. He first attended the Lagos campus of the Federal Government College before moving on to Ambrose Ali University to study business administration.
Career in Music

He excelled at it, especially playing the drums, and in 2000, upon his uncle's offer to play the drums in a church, he traveled to London. He killed two birds with one stone while in London by utilizing his uncle's generosity and began working in order to supplement his meager resources.
Don Jazzy was a security officer at the well-known McDonald's. He made friends with a fellow Nigerian there, and the two of them started making music together. They both went back to Nigeria in 2004 to start "Mo'Hits Records," a record company that would go on to release one of Nigeria's most popular albums. He created a deluge of albums through his label. His astute production abilities have benefited Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, Dbanj, and his brother, D'Prince.
Don Jazzy and Dbanj broke their initial agreement to work together in 2012 and parted ways. They both succeeded after the split up, achieving outstanding milestones in respective records, in contrast to typical splits in the industry where one of the duo remains afloat and the other sinks. The moniker "Mo'Hits," which entered history, was the only thing lost in the breakup.
