Nigerian artiste Flavour shared a piece of personal information in an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Monday. The revelation took many people by storm.
The highlife musician said he was a virgin till he was 24 years old.

‘I was a virgin till I was 24. Remember I told you the first man that took me in, that I served, my starting point, I told you how it was, there was no television, alcohol, no woman’.
A shocked Ebuka asked him ‘so you didn’t have sex till you were 24?’ 

Flavour is seen as a symbol of virility in the music and entertainment industry because of his sex appeal and the depths of emotions in his songs.

In the same interview, he was asked about the kind of women he likes. He responded that he goes for normal women. Ebuka asked if he meant MBGN beauty queens: Flavour has been involved in relationships with two beauty queens from the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Pageant: Sandra Okagbue and Anna Banner. Both women have two daughters for him.

Flavour's career started in 2005 with the hit song Nwa Baby off his debut album N’abania (meaning tonight). He plays the guitar piano and drums.
He has featured musicians like Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, Chidinma, Yemi Alade, Wande Coal, P-square, Fally Ipupa, Umu Obiligbo.

He adopted Semah Weifur in 2017, a Liberian boy who was born blind. They collaborated on musical projects together and were often in the news for their father-son bond. Not much has been heard about Semah since 2020.

He is one of the musicians in Nigeria who depicts sexual attraction in his music. Flavour recently featured in Patoranking’s music video with Yemi Alade Mon Bebe. He was once rumoured to be in a relationship with Chidinma Ekile, but there has not been confirmation from any of the two parties.

He released five albums between 2005 and 2017. In 2010, after his first album, he released Uplifted.
In 2012, he released Blessed, in 2014, He released Thankful, in 2017 he released Ijele, a 17 track album. In 2018, he released Divine with Semah, an album with 7 tracks, including the hit song Most High. He also released Awele, a 4- track EP with the indigenous musicians Umu Obiligbo. 

Flavour and Chidinma released an EP together titled 40 Years Everlasting. 
His latest album is the 16-track project released in 2020 and titled Flavour of Africa.

He has received nominations from the Ghana Music Awards, the Headies, City People Entertainment Awards, Nigerian Entertainment Awards, Channel O Music Awards, African Muzik Magazine Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards and Afrima in categories ranging from Most Gifted Music Video, Best RnB/ Pop Album, Best Highlife Video, Best Collabo, Best Use of Costumes, Video of the year.

Flavour released Ada Ada in 2013, a song that has become the anthem for traditional weddings in Nigeria and all around the world.
He was involved in a controversy about his song Kwarikwa. Ghanaian musician duo Wutah accused Flavour N'abania of replicating their song Kotosa, he was alleged to have stolen everything about their song, except the lyrics.

Flavour released the music video for his latest single Omo Temi two days ago. it is currently enjoying impressive streaming.
