Nigerian media personality, actress, video vixen and entrepreneur Mercy Eke is an indigene of Imo state. She attended Egbu Girls Secondary School in Owerri and graduated from Imo State University in 2014 with a degree in psychology. Mercy Eke appeared as a vixen in the music video for Davido and Ichaba’s single “Baby Mama”. The track made rounds and further added to her popularity while she was in the Big brother naija house. Mercy auditioned for Big Brother Naija four times before finally becoming a contestant.
She went ahead to win the 4th season of Big Brother Naija (Pepper Dem season) which aired from the 30thof June to the 6thof October 2019 thereby becoming the first woman to win the reality show. Mercy defeated Mike, Frodd, Omashola and Seyi on the final day of the show to emerge the winner. Tacha’s participation in the reality show ended sadly due to her assault on her fellow housemate, Mercy, which led to her being disqualified and evicted from the house. Since then, Mercy has gone ahead to become an ambassador and influencer for various organizations. In 2020, she made her acting debut in the Nollywood fil, Fate of Alakada.

On March 14th, 2020, Mercy Eke received the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for Best Dressed Female. Mercy has also appeared in short comedy skits alongside a few Nigerian comedians.
