Crossover Nigerian artist, Davido first shared that he is set to into a new home on Friday, 29 May 2020, by sharing the viewing of the house on his Instagram stories. But to call the new home he is moving into a house would be an understatement.

Davido has officially acquired for himself and his family a compound, which he has decided to dub the Banana Island.

The name is inspired by his cross over hit single, Fall, which is now certified gold in United States of American, Canada and other European countries which is unheard from an artist based in Africa achieving that internationally.

From his Instagram stories we know the house has white walls, with a kitchen and floor with marble finishes. The compound is has an elevator to connect the three floors, besides the ground floor of the house.

The compound will be heavily secured, so not just anyone can get access into Banana Island. Besides the main residency the home has adjoining wings which will probably house the cleaning and security staff, along with any new visitors.
