Last month, American Superstar Wyclef Jean tweeted about tracing his DNA back to Nigeria and asked his followers to help him find Sean Tizzle, whom, it appeared, would be the missing link to his African Heritage. He also uploaded two clips of the musician’s hit songs on both his Twitter and Instagram.
Who knows, our Uncle Wyclef could be of Yoruba heritage if we looked closely.
People expected that a collaboration would be borne out of this validation, and began to tweet Sean Tizzle’s chart-toppers in a bid to show that they still regard him as one of the country’s musical powerhouses.
The result of those tweets is what music lovers will enjoy come 14th of February.
After being lowkey for a while, Sean Tizzle is back with a bang. He has made it known that he’s coming back on Valentine’s day, with a fresh sound titled ‘Where You Been!’ The tracklist has four songs.
On his Instagram, he made an appreciation post to acknowledge all the people who worked with him on the project.

TIZZLE say so
Nobody likes a comeback story better than social media. This is the case of Sean Tizzle, who like every other celebrity has been on all sides of the social media coin.
Born Morihanfen Oluwaseun Bamidele, Sean Tizzle is a Nigerian singer, songwriter who made his entrance into the Nigerian entertainment industry in 2013 with his debut single Sho lee. That same year, he was crowned ‘Next Rated’ artiste at the Headies Awards, in a category that had other new entrants like Burna Boy, Phyno and Seyi Shay.

In 2014, his 17-track debut album The Journey was awarded Best R&B Pop album at the Headies.
In 2017, the musician released an EP titled Moving Forward which did not gain as much attention as one would expect. An article attributed this decline in his popularity as ‘a complex web of unending controversies’.
Some of the comments under the post of his new release read:
Be more consistent Tizzle... no Dey act like Nepa before your fans go abandon you
He had nice songs that year...I'm sure the new body of work will be amazing too
He for feature Davido cos two of them resemble and thing David features is a hit
