Other Sources of income

Lyta is currently continuing to advance his career one step at a time. Like many prominent Nigerian performers, he has not signed a deal for brand sponsorship. Regardless, the young man still has a lot of maturing and ground to make up in the Nigerian music industry.

Lyta, on the other hand, did not get any business or investment gains that contributed to his net worth. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that over time, he would begin to diversify his income sources by investing some of the money he makes from his songs.

Lyta's Career

The talented singer and composer Lyta was discovered by YBNL boss Olamide at a public event, where he was astounded by his rapping skills. He was thrilled when he was asked to join him on stage that day for some freestyle.

After working with Olamide on the song "Time," which was yet another remarkable accomplishment, he became well-known in the entertainment scene.

Since breaking into the music industry, he has been releasing hit after hit, including Junior Boy's remix of his song Time and Adekunle Gold's rendition of Ire.

In 2018, Badoo signed him to his record label. Badoo is adamant about rising through edifying others.

Lyta has also worked with notable figures in the industry, such as Davido, and in 2019 he debuted the eagerly anticipated music video for the hit song Monalisa with Davido.

So how did he come up with the name Lyta for his theatrical persona?

"Dj Stramborella gave me the name after seeing me play at a show when people were clapping and shouting. He summoned me to his house the next day and told me he owned a record label in Dublin. When I told him my name was Opeyemi, he urged me to change it to Lyta, and that's how I acquired the name Lyta."

Lyta is one of several artists like Sho Madjozi and Sjava who prefer to express themselves in their own tongues. Yoruba is the most natural language for him to sing in because it is how he expresses himself, but he also has songs that aren't in Yoruba. He classifies his music as Afro-pop.

Because he has experienced the streets himself, he can relate to what happens there, which influences his song. Even though he hasn't yet put out an album, he has established a name for himself because of the fantastic songs he keeps giving his fans.
