Tiwa Savage's Husband Tunji Balogun

Tiwa Savage, a stage name for Tiwatope Savage, is a British-Nigerian singer-songwriter.  She turned 43 years old this year and was born on February 5th, 1980. Tiwa was raised in London after leaving Isale Eko, Lagos, Nigeria, when she was 11 years old.

Tiwa Savage began her musical career after high school by working as a backup singer for well-known performers like Mary J. Bling and George Michael. She has a child from the previous marriage and is currently divorced.

According to certain reports, Tiwa is the richest female musician in Nigeria because she has appeared in many performances. She also represents numerous brands as a brand ambassador.

At the Ark event center in Lekki on November 23, 2013, Tiwa married her manager Tunji Balogun, also known as "Tee Biilz." However, the union was brief and dissolved on April 28, 2016. She is recently divorced and has custody of the couple's lone kid.

Tunji, a record label executive from America, is from Nigeria and he runs Def Jam Recordings as CEO. He was the senior vice president of A&R for RCA Records and a co-founder of Keep Cool.

Artists including Brockhampton, Childish Gambino, Goldlink, H.E.R., Khalid, SZA, Bryson Tiller, and Cozz were signed by Balogun. In August 2021, Def Jam named him CEO, and he began serving in that capacity in January 2022.

After graduating from Pomona College in 2004, Balogun was employed by Warner Brothers Records as an assistant and began his work there as a marketing intern. Later, he worked with musicians signed to Bad Boy Entertainment and Shady Records, as well as Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Keyshia Cole, OneRepublic, and others, while holding a job in A&R at Interscope.

There was a persistent rumor that Tiwa Savage was dating Wizkid, another famous musician. She disproved the relationship rumors, though, and affirmed that she was only Wizkid's friend. They are only jointly producing music, and performances.

In an interview, Tiwa Savage openly hinted to the existence of a sex tape to her audience. As a result of her refusal to pay the blackmailers, it was posted online on October 19, 2021. It is one controversy that has followed the musician for a while now.
