Nigerian singer Wizkid whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun may have kept fans anticipating his next studio album, "Made in Lagos" since he made the announcement in 2018 but it has not stopped him from showing support for his colleagues in the African music industry who have recently released new projects.

Wizkid aka Starboy took to Instagram and share the digital albums arts of Burna Boy, Fireboy, Maleek Berry, Tiwa Savage, DJ Cuppy, Efya, Adekunle Gold, Patoranking and Rema. In the caption that accompanied the post,

Starboy encouraged his 11.1 million fans on Instagram to patronize these stars of African music and update their old playlist with these songs. he also wrote:

"Africa lit! My brothers and sisters with da smoke !!! Update your playlist!!! BIG LOVE!!" his caption read on Instagram. The action by Wizkid gained him more praise from fans and colleagues. Many were spotted hailing him in the comment section.
