Essence hitmaker Wizkid has over the years developed into a global superstar, a position which comes with a lot of perks, like a good rate card and endorsement deals.

The money he has made over the years has enabled him to acquire some of the best cars in the market and still he shows no sign of slowing down.

In the years he’s been in the industry, Wizkid has been able to make millions which have enabled him to acquire some of the best rides in the market, some of his best cars include.

  1. Bentley car which is worth N45 million.
  2. Lamborghini Prime X2 worth up to N28 million.
  3. Porsche Panamera, worth N13 million.
  4. BMW X6 worth N11 million.
  5. Mercedes Benz 2012 Compressor vehicle worth N9 million.
  6. Hyundai Sonata worth N6 million.

Wizkid House

Wizkid's house in Surulere, Lagos Mainland, is worth more than 13 million Naira. Because he is a man who enjoys traveling, the actor also owns a home in Los Angeles, California.

In the United States, little is known about the house, but word on the street is that it costs more than a million dollars. Wizkid also owns a house in Lekki that is valued at N68 million.

Endorsements

Wizkid reportedly got a one-year endorsement deal with Pepsi in 2012 for $350,000. He and Tiwa Savage flew to Beirut, Lebanon, for a Pepsi commercial shoot.

Premium Times announced on May 28, 2013, that Wizkid had inked a one-year deal with MTN Nigeria. Wizkid's Pepsi deal was also renewed for another two years, according to the newspaper.

Wizkid inked an agreement with Guinness in November 2013 for the Guinness World of More concert, which was hosted at the Eko Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel & Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Wizkid quit MTN in June 2015 and signed a $128 million deal with GLO, according to Pulse Nigeria.

Career


Wizkid began his singing career at the age of eleven, going under the stage name Lil Prinz until 2006. He began by founding the Glorious Five with a group of friends from church, with whom he released an album before disbanding. 

Wizkid later met OJB Jezreel, a singer-songwriter and record producer, a few years later. He got the opportunity to watch artists like Naeto C and Tu Face record albums while he was at the studio, which aroused his interest in pursuing a career in the music industry.

In February 2013, Wizkid gave out a subtle message on Twitter and changed his Twitter profile. He also moved out of the E.M.E. mansion in Lagos and bought a house in the city's Lekki Phase 1 neighborhood. 

Banky W reassured fans that nothing was wrong prior to Wizkid's cryptic tweets by assuring that everything was fine. Internal discord allegedly began as early as the E.M.E All Stars concert in 2012, which marked the start of the band's demise. Furthermore, it was suggested that money was at the center of the discussion. 

According to a source in Nigerian Entertainment Today, Wizkid and E.M.E reconciled on April 30, 2013, after contract talks (NET). Wizkid opted to depart E.M.E. after the release of his second studio album and the expiration of his five-year contract. 

Wizkid admitted to leaving E.M.E. with no money in his pocket in an interview with Capital Xtra in October of this year.
