Toyin Abraham's 'Fate of Alakada' Release Date Finally Announced

Just before Covid-19 hit the world and crippled many economies, Toyin Abraham had announced she was about to release, the highly anticipated new 'Alakada' installment, 'Fate of Alakada', but all that had to be postponed because of the closure of cinema's, but months after it now has a release date. Toyin Abraham confirmed via an Instagram post that the comedy flick will premiere in cinemas on October 1.

The movie was originally set for release on the 3rd of  April, 2020, she had already planned a lavish Owambe themed premiere which had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 enforced lockdown that saw cinemas shut down in most states in Nigeria. Cinemas and other recreational centers have since reopened for business.

The star-studded production produced by Toyin Abraham and directed by Kayode Kasum continues the hilarious journey of Yetunde (Toyin Abraham) alongside Instagram comedian, Broda Shaggi. It is the fifth installment in her fan-favorite 'Alakada' film franchise.
