The BBC Is On AKA And YCee Now

Hectic.

Okay so this started with the terrible violence in South Africa which we think we can agree we all think is tragic and horrible - but then AKA stepped in the middle of it and came out calling for unity.

YCee was having none of it as he revealed his feelings about South African men.

Part of the tweet reads:

"There is this subtle dislike that a lot of them (If not all) feel towards Nigerians and no matter how hard they try to hide it .. it eventually jumps out - like when AKA had a full childish grown man tantrum when they lost to Nigeria in the nations cup."

So as you can see, it gets a little crazy now.

Some Nigerian followers saw this an opportunity to unleash threats on AKA, telling him not to set foot in their country again.

But others have condemned this, clearly stating that AKA's tweets were warranted because it is just football banter

Now, here is the BBC's take on it

Xenophobia: Burna Boy, Wizkid, AKA, Ycee, and oda celebs don react
